The International Piano Competition “PIANOFEST”, held annually in June in Bitola, is a prestigious cultural event that enriches the city’s classical music scene. Organized by the Association of Pianists and Music Pedagogues “Piano” in Bitola, this competition highlights the city’s rich musical heritage and showcases young talents from primary and secondary music schools, as well as university students up to the age of 22.
The competition features two main disciplines:
- Piano Solo
- Piano Four Hands
Participants are categorized by age to ensure a fair and competitive environment. Supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Macedonia, “PIANOFEST” plays a significant role in promoting classical music and nurturing the next generation of musicians.
